Baby Bedding - Toddler Bedding
One of the hottest trends in infant furniture are baby cribs that convert to toddler beds. Now, more than ever, toddler bedding is a popular choice in the crowded arena of baby bedding. A toddler bed uses the headboard, footboard, support rails and mattress from the crib. Once the pieces are reconfigured, a miniature bed emerges. Toddler bedding is designed with safety in mind and incorporates many of the design and functional elements found in twin bedding.
Toddler bedding is typically sold as a four piece sets containing a quilt, fitted sheet, top sheet and pillow case. The fitted sheet is the oftentimes identical to a crib sheet and the pillow case is made to fit a twin-sized pillow. The quilt and the top sheet are made with toddler "hugger" corners on the bottom half of the bedding which grabs the mattress much in the same way as a fitted sheet. This bedding innovation allows a toddler to sleep in a bed and not have to worry so much about getting tangled up or dislodging the bedding. Parents appreciate that toddler hugger corners make it easier for the toddler to learn how to make their bed.
Toddler Bedding can be found in any theme or color that will strike a toddlers imagination. Trucks, cars, rockets, ballerinas and flowers have never failed to entice the young mind. Olive Kids, PJ Kids, Baby Doll and Fireside Comforts are a few of the leading names in pre-packaged toddler. Glenna Jean, a well respected baby bedding manufacturer, makes toddler top sheets that can be used to help transition bedding from a crib to a toddler bed.
